independent company - a company that takes no ownership and isn't owned by companies

Independent companies work with larger companies or more established companies to get their product distributes, a example of this is when Hat Trick Productions who made the sitcom Derry Girls worked as part of a joint venture with Channel 4 to get it distributed on Tv. When companies work as part of a joint venture it is because it is mutually beneficial for both companies
